I don’t get a great lot of exercise – although I am aware I need to. In order to rectify this and hopefully alleviate some long term consequences, I have been ‘taking walks’ in the early evening, taking advantage of the ‘not too early, not too late’ principles.
Nearby is access to the underground water pipes.
At the time or originally discovering them, the fascination was with the amazing graffiti. I have always liked the visual arts as a means to express. Several years ago, I was fortunate to be in London and the ‘act of kindness’ extended to street artists by the London City Council. Under the ‘old’ council chambers freedom of expression was evident in abundance.
I’m not entirely sure what time these people do their art, but no-one is ever there when I am – except on this occasion.
The lighting effects made it look like there was a marquee in the tunnel, while the guy (there was a guy and girl) played his electric guitar and sang very delightfully.
I’m not sure how they managed to power anything, but they did. The other thing they did entertain admirably (while remaining unaware of their kind gesture I’m sure).
I would seriously and sincerely love to know your opinion.
