Q Magazine was launched in March 2004. The process to get it to the point of launch however was many months before. The publication started with a core of three owners, and a handful of writers, consultants and the like. In 2006 I became the sole owner and have been ever since.

Early 2016 I made the very difficult decision to stop the bleeding (figuratively speaking) and more completely utilise Q Magazine’s digital footprint. It should be noted that Q Magazine has always had a very active digital footprint. The transition from print and online to exclusively online was not that much of a jump.

Yes – simply use the ‘Contact’ form and write to our publisher and editor with your request and he will get back to you with a quotation. If you know the size of the advertisement you want, your budget, length of campaign (and start date), and have creative ready to go, please add that too, please.

It is VITALLY IMPORTANT for the subscription base of Q MAGAZINE MEDIA to increase exponentially and maintain a significantly high level. Everyone can ‘subscribe’ for FREE!

I have anecdotal evidence of the readership of Q Magazine starting from as young as thirteen to a grand old age of ninety-five. It’s the broad appeal that has kept Q Magazine fresh, relevant and alive. Although Q Magazine is unashamedly gay (lgbtiqa+) there is nothing in it that should offend anyone of any age, sex, race, colour, religion or sexuality.

Absolutely! With the format now taking in daily blog articles, in addition to the monthly publication, I am in constant need to content. This may include upcoming events, concerts, functions, launches etc If I get enough of those sorts of entries, I will add an ‘events’ page to the site.

Born in Cairns (Far North Queensland – Australia) I am the youngest and the only boy of a family of five. My first serious job was as a Salesperson, the announcer, then Production Manager for 4AM. I spent in excess of ten years running my own successful entertainment agency before moving to Melbourne (Victoria – Australia) where I currently live, work and play. A week after arriving I joined the sales team at JOY 94.9fm – what was to be Australia’s first and only dedicated gay and lesbian radio station. I was clearly destined to be self-employed as fate would have it. Q Magazine was born in March 2004 and as they so rightly say ‘the rest is history’.
