From Backstage to Center Stage

Before stepping into the international spotlight, BJ Sam was a powerhouse behind the scenes in the Nigerian music industry. Serving as a celebrity booking agent and stage manager for icons like Wizkid and Davido, he gained a front-row seat to the explosive rise of Afrobeats. However, his own vision was broader—a mission to use music as a tool for peace and cultural integration.

His talent hasn’t gone unnoticed by Hollywood, either. His hit track “Mon Amour” caught the ear of legendary director Lloyd Kaufman, who selected it as the soundtrack for the film Heart of Fatness. Most recently, his anthem “Don’t Worry, Everything Will Be Fine” reached a career milestone, appearing on the ballot for Grammy consideration in the Best Global Music Performance category for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.

BJ Sam is currently scaling this project into a “Global Unity” adaptation, aiming to involve over 100 choirs worldwide to sing the message of gratitude in their native tongues.
