2025 delivered a string of career highlights for Brisbane Singer Songwriter Lottie McLeod. In March, Lottie was named Triple J Unearthed’s Featured Artist of the Week, and QMusic’s Emerging Artist of the Year.

In May, Lottie released her debut EP, “Bug”. Funds from the “Billy Thorpe Scholarship”, received in 2024, contributed to the production of the EP and Lottie was thrilled to have the project completed and received so well. Rolling Stone Australia described “Bug” as “perfect for those reflective moments,” with which Lottie agrees as it was in her own moments of reflection that “Bug” was written and developed.

“Ruin a Good Thing”, the final single release from “Bug”, has proven to be Lottie’s most successful single, achieving Triple J rotation, a goal Lottie had set for 2025. Lottie followed up the release with her first headline tour, thanks to Creative Australia.

2025 continued to deliver ‘pinch me’ moments for Lottie, having been announced on the Gold Coast line up for Triple J’s 50th Birthday Tour alongside some of her favourite Australian artists, Mallrat, Darcie Haven and Jem Cassar-Daly.

2026 has kicked off strongly. Lottie has been in the studio recording her follow up EP to be released later this year. The first single from it, “Important to You” was just released yesterday (on February 27th), her first release since signing ABC Music, at the end of 2025. Lottie describes the new music as raw and real and is truly excited to get it out for people to hear, and connect with.
