Hairy Mary’s & Skypoint are proud to announce SKYPRIDE – a major new collaboration – bringing something unique to Pride Month on the Gold Coast that’s never been done before. The partnership marks a significant moment for LGBTQIA+ visibility on the Gold Coast, with Hairy Mary’s owner Steven Fahd working closely with the SkyPoint team over several months to help bring the event to life.

“This collaboration has been months in the making, and we’re incredibly proud to finally share it,” said Steven Fahd – owner of Hairy Mary’s.

“Working alongside the SkyPoint team to create an event of this scale at one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic locations has been genuinely exciting. SKYPRIDE is about visibility, celebration, and creating unforgettable experiences for our community.”

Located within the Q1 building, SkyPoint is one of the Gold Coast’s most recognised tourism destinations, offering uninterrupted views from Australia’s tallest residential tower. The collaboration represents a unique crossover between tourism, nightlife, and community celebration during Pride Month. SKYPRIDE will be the official closing party for the Gold Coast Pride Collective’s Fair Day – happening earlier in the day at HOTA (Home of the Arts).

‘We’re incredibly excited to collaborate with Hairy Mary’s to bring SkyPride to life at SkyPoint. This event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and community in one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic venues.’ – Chris Lang, SkyPoint Operations Manager
