Marking 10 Years
“Your paintings hanging at our weekender not only offer us endless enjoyment, but the pleasure of sharing them with friends who visit.”
Jim O’Donnell, Patron, New York, NY

“Shortly before arriving in Toronto, Brendan, who was soon to model for me there, wrote that he now had a baby daughter. Freshly inspired from viewing Raphael’s Madonna and Child, I knew then I would paint him holding her.”
Ross Watson
Marking 10 Years since Watson completed Untitled #02/16 (after Raphael, 1600; Brendan and Zoe) which has provided endless enjoyment since then for the artist’s New York Patrons and friends who visit their beautiful Long Island weekender. A popular artwork from the artist’s Myth&Reality series, which explores important themes including sexuality, identity and religion, and references the master works of celebrated European artists Raphael, Caravaggio, Vouet and Vermeer.

SHOP Limited Edition Canvases

These are the most collectable editions, available in an edition of three with two artist’s proofs. Artist’s proofs are the first prints the artist is completely happy with, before signing off on the edition.
True to the size of the original painting, they are hand-signed and numbered by Ross Watson on the reverse side of the canvas, and glass is optional in framing. You can select your desired edition number from those available.

Since starting the Q Magazine Media Blog, I have rarely featured artworks – although I find great delight in all forms of the arts. Check out Ross’ website and the simply amazing collection of work this man has amassed.
