Acclaimed choreographer-turned-singer Bobby Newberry returns to the airwaves with his most personal release to date. Feelin’ is a radiant new single. It’s inspired by the memory of his late husband, TJ. The song was written by Newberry. It was co-produced with Theory. It captures the carefree, joyful spirit of love and light that defined their relationship.

Newberry began his career as a choreographer for Eminem. He created show-stopping work for Nicki Minaj and The Pussycat Dolls. He also worked with Missy Elliot and Lil’ Wayne. His talent extended to Dancing with the Stars and X-Factor. He first stepped into the spotlight as a recording artist in 2014. He did this with his debut single Dirrty Up featuring Jessie and The Toy Boys. He then followed it with his EP The Newberry Special. His 2023 debut album Dopamine Rollercoaster cemented his standing as an artist in his own right, delivering high-energy, dance-driven tracks. With Feelin’, Newberry takes a softer, more emotional turn, offering fans a song that radiates warmth, nostalgia, and joy.

The single is dedicated to TJ who passed away after a battle with cancer. Newberry took a two-year hiatus from music to care for him and process his loss. “He was the most beautiful, selfless person on the planet,” Newberry says. “Watching him go through that consumed everything. Nothing else mattered. But I know he would want me to release music again. This song is for him, and for everyone who’s ever felt that love.”Unlike the harder-edged tracks on Dopamine Rollercoaster, Feelin’ is all about lightness and escape. “This one just feels like love and light to me,” Newberry explains. “It makes me smile when I listen to it and remember moments with TJ. The world needs more of that joy right now.”
