Andrew Radziewicz aka The Psychic Firefighter

 
Andrew Radziewicz aka The Psychic Firefighter was, by all accounts, the archetypal Queens, New York boy and legacy FDNY firefighter at New York’s Engine 211/Ladder 119. His uncle began working for the New York City fire department in 1954, followed by his father in 1981. Andrew followed suit in 2006.

He spent his days and nights hanging around at the firehouse, drinking with the guys after shifts, and taming some of the city’s most ferocious blazes.
 

 
But Andrew was harboring a secret that ran down his mother’s family line. He could recall his own death from a previous lifetime, and often saw and communicated with deceased people on the Other Side and multidimensional beings.

His vivid memories of drowning in a previous life emerged by the time he was 3. By his teen years he was contacted by two friends who’d passed away unexpectedly, having seen each of them appear in his bedroom before being told they had just crossed over.

In 2011, at age 31, he sat face-to-face with a woman he’d only just met and began telling her of images he was seeing above her head. “I was getting images of a car accident where a man’s left leg was severed. I told her the person’s name was ‘Vince’ or ‘Vinny,’ and she said, ‘That exact accident happened to my Uncle Vinny.’”

From then on, Andrew began doing readings for individuals and groups whenever he could, and wherever he could. As Andrew tells it, “I thought, ‘Oh My God! If I can do this for people, I want to do this forever.’”  But he vowed to keep his gift a secret from fellow firefighters, especially the higher ups. “For eleven years I read as many people as I could,” he recalls. “I read hundreds of people from all walks of life for free. I just wanted to do this on my time off and I couldn’t tell anyone at work, at first. The guys at the firehouse would think I was nuts.”

One prophetic day in 2015, Andrew received a message that saved his life. “We’re at a fire and my grandmother who’d passed in 2010 appeared clear as day to me and she said, ‘Don’t go in this building.’  I told the guys to wait a second, and just as they looked at me sideways, the whole thing went up in explosive flames. We would have all been dead.”
 

In 2018 everything changed. The New York Post got wind of Andrew’s secret psychic life away from the firehouse, and his frequent connections with other-worldly beings and guides.  “Anna Sanders from the New York Post contacted me and informed me she was writing a story on me,” recalls Andrew. “She asked me for comment. I couldn’t comment since I didn’t even know what the story was about, and then boom! There it was for millions of people to read, including my bosses and co-workers.” The headline read: FDNY firefighter claims he’s seen ghosts, aliens and angels.

“I’d been outed,” he says. Panicked, he spoke to his boss who was surprisingly supportive, but he knew his days as a New York City Firefighter were numbered.

After thirteen years of FDNY service, Andrew retired from the FDNY in good standing and began working as a full- time intuitive psychic medium. The article garnered offers to speak across the globe, including Australia, where he now lives with his wife and children for much of the year.

Some of his recent, more high profile readings have been for public figures who have faced their own controversies and concerns including actor Armie Hammer, Chicago PD and Lucifer star Lauren German, socialite and podcaster Rachel Uchitel, and other high profile clients who prefer to remain anonymous.
