It’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch meets It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but CAMP AS HELL

• ‘The Witchy Girls’ follows the story of best friends Lazy Susan and Zelda Moon navigating high school friendships, the millennium bug and a singing STD, to name a few.
• A bold, live-first comedy series launching this May, The Witchy Girls will be screened live in Melbourne at The Capitol Theatre and Comedy Republic, with appearances from series stars.

Recently announced judges for Drag Race Down Under Vs The World, Rhys Nicholson and Lazy Susan (Robbie Sinclair Ten Eyck) have teamed up to produce The Witchy Girls, a new supernatural drag-comedy series, which just wrapped principal photography.

The series features an extensive cast of celebrated Australian performers and comedians including Alaska Thunderf*ck, Hannah Gadsby, Geraldine Hickey, Rhys Nicholson, Ella Hooper, Sez, Jordan Barr, Genevieve Morris, Hot Department, Hamish MacGregor and more, alongside emerging voices from across comedy, drag and performance.

After winning Drag Race Down Under Season 4, and being selected for the coveted Cannes Frontières platform with their short Skin Side Up, Ten Eyck is continuing this momentum by teaming up with Iris Arc Pictures and Comedy Republic to bring The Witchy Girls to screens in 2026.

The series follows best friends Lazy Susan and Zelda Moon as they stumble through high school, facing enemies such as the Millennium Bug, STDs and the most popular girl at school all while never learning a single lesson.

Creators Robbie Sinclair Ten Eyck and Kane Bonato describe the series as “about bad people who are good friends with magic thrown in. We grew up with all these heroic teens on TV trying to save the world and none of that reflected how rotted teens really are.”

Audiences are invited to experience the world premiere of The Witchy Girls with live screening events in Melbourne throughout May, including a red carpet gala premiere at The Capitol Theatre.
