Montage Events, the producer of Cathedral City LGBT+ Days, is proud to announce the official lineup for California’s first Pride celebration of the year – a milestone year, marking the 10th anniversary of the event, promising to honor a decade of visibility, community, and pride in the heart of the Coachella Valley. All the excitement takes place Friday, March 6, 2026, through Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Cathedral City LGBT+ Days weekend schedule:

Tuesday (March 3) 5pm-7:30pm – Watch and help crown the winner of Cat City Drag Race 2026. Her Royal Highness of Cathedral City will be decided through the Runway, Lip Sync, and Wheel of Shade drag challenges. This special kickoff event is in conjunction with Cathedral City Tastes & Sounds. Want to vie for the crown? Submit an application here 

Friday (March 6) 4:30pm-6pm – join in the PRO-EQUALITY Rally on the steps of City Hall with elected officials and community leaders, Pride Flag Raising at City Hall, and the Mayor’s proclamation officially opening Cathedral City LGBT+ Days.

Friday 8:30pm-9:30pm – watch the spectacular PRIDE Drone Show from the official watch party at The Roost Lounge.

Saturday (March 7) 9am-11am – the Inaugural CommUNITY Strong Walk takes place – this event isn’t just about getting active; it’s about walking with purpose. All registration proceeds from the walk will benefit the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), supporting their vital work in achieving equality for LGBTQ+ people everywhere. Whether you are walking to show your pride, support a loved one, or simply enjoy a beautiful morning in Cathedral City, your presence makes a difference. The Walk will start and end at The Roost Lounge. Let’s show how “CommUNITY Strong” we really are! You can register a team or as an individual here: 

Saturday 12pm-8:30pm – stroll the Festival (free entrance before 4pm inside the Community Amphitheater) with food and drinks, artisan vendors, live entertainment all day, and most of all a coming together of commUNITY! Stage entertainment includes:

• Morgan McMichaels’ Drag Extravaganza featuring ALL-STAR queens from RPDR.
• Singer/songwriter Mama Silver
• Comedian Shann Carr + CV Lip Sync Battle Winners

• DJs + more to come

VIP tables, Reserved Seating and GA options available for the entire day!  

Sunday (March 8) 9am-2pm – enjoy a mimosa while browsing the Vendor Marketplace and watching the legendary Cathedral City LGBT+ Days Bed Race and Parade. Want to enter the race? You can register here

Sunday 2pm – the Closing Party is all about Bingo with Deven & Ned at Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City. Drink specials and fun prizes are a great cap to the weekend.

Born in Cairns (Far North Queensland – Australia) I am the youngest and the only boy of a family of five. My first serious job was as a Salesperson, the announcer, then Production Manager for 4AM. I spent in excess of ten years running my own successful entertainment agency before moving to Melbourne (Victoria – Australia) where I currently live, work and play. A week after arriving I joined the sales team at JOY 94.9fm – what was to be Australia’s first and only dedicated gay and lesbian radio station. I was clearly destined to be self-employed as fate would have it. Q Magazine was born in March 2004 and as they so rightly say ‘the rest is history’.
